How long is a CST session?

Generally, we start with an hour-long session. For some people, an hour is plenty. Some people prefer extended sessions. So that you can choose the session that best fits your needs, I offer 60-, 75-, or 90-minute sessions.

Does it hurt?

No, it is very gentle. In contrast to other modalities, craniosacral therapy works with your body, often using only 5 grams of pressure.

Will I need more than one session?

One session can stand alone and is generally enough to make you feel wonderful. However, if you are working on a particular issue (for example, headaches or migraines), multiple sessions are often indicated.

How will I feel after the session?

Most people feel very relaxed. Although the work is subtle, it is deep work. So be gentle with yourself after a craniosacral session. Stay hydrated. Take it easy. In other words, it’s probably better to receive CST after you run a marathon, not before. If you ever have a question or concern about how you are feeling after a session, please reach out to me.

What should I wear?

You will lie on the table with your clothes on to receive CST. Since the work is done over clothes, soft, comfortable workout-type clothing works best.

Do you take insurance or HSA?

I do not take insurance but do accept most HSA cards. In some cases, I can provide a superbill with CPT codes so that you may use bill your insurance company directly for reimbursement.
